“Custom sale” feature – products that not yet added in Back Office

From the version 4.2.1, we have made a big improvement for ”Custom Sale” feature.

When your customers want to buy a product which has not inserted in your Back Office yet –  Rock POS will help you to do this right on the Sell page. You can sell those products normally, those products will be shown in the Back Office and you can edit them later.  In addition, you can return orders which contain these type of products.

To create a custom sale for a product: Access your Back Office > RockPOS > Sell page > Custom sale > Enter the product’s name, stock, price or tax rule.

  • Product’s name: you can use both letters and digits. This is the required field to create a custom sale for a product.
  • Stock: quantity of the product. By default is 1 and it’s also the minimum quantity to add a product to the shopping cart. You can change its stock based on the product’s quantity.
  • Price: you can select to display “Price (tax excl)” or “Price (tax incl)”.
  • Tax: there is a list of tax rules that you can apply. By default, it is set to “No tax”

We will calculate your original price (Tax incl.) / final price (Tax excl.) and shows it in the right corner of the popup.

After filling the information, click the “Add to cart” button to add the product into the shopping cart. The quantity will be 1.

In the Back Office, it is disabled and associated with the category “Home”.

You can make any changes to it.
