RockPOS and payment methods
RockPOS supports different payment methods which enables you to serve your customers in the most flexible way. There are 4 pre-installed payments in RockPOS:
- Cash
- Check or cheque
- Credit card
- Installment
If you disable payment methods (Switch the “Enable payment” button to disable), your order will be checked out by the first payment method in the list by default. Also, on the receipt, it shows “Cheque”.
In the example above, “Cheque” will be the selected payment method to be showed on the receipt. Moreover, you cannot add new payment methods to your system.
In the case your payment methods are enabled, you can add unlimited payment methods to meet your local business needs.
Currently, RockPOS hasn’t integrated with any payment gateways directly yet. It means, when you choose to accept payment with credit card, you will need to:
- Have a payment gateway already connected with your bank
- Type in amount due into your payment gateway
- Take payment with credit card as usual
- Then mark that order payment as “Credit Card” in RockPOS.
